Michael E. Northrup, Baltimore  Michael Northrup is a photographer and professor that lives and works in Baltimore, MD. He holds an MFA at the Art Institute of Chicago. His works have been shown at the Herman Fine Arts Gallery (OH), The Washington Centre for Photography, Moore College of Art, Colorado Photographic Arts Centre and Cameravision Gallery (LA). In 2004, his book “Beautiful Ecstasy” was published by JandL Books, and in 2005, the book received the American Photography Book Award. Nikon, Scientific America, Polaroid, Chicago Art Institute, and the Erie Art Museum have acquired Michael’s work as part of their collections.
